29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(ii): The employer did not document that the equipment in t he process complied with recognized and generally accepted good engineering prac tices: The employer does not ensure that it documents that equipment in the proc ess complies with good engineering practices. a) This violation was documented on or about November 4, 2010 at Lion Copolymer, LLC - Baton Rouge, when the employer did not document the RAGEGEP that would de scribe how the liquid ammonia lines in the UPH would be labeled according to the ir utility. This exposed employees the hazards of fire and explosion. b) This vi olation occurred on or about November 15, 2010 when the employer did not include in the process safety information the ammonia labeling system to be utilized th rough out the ammonia refrigeration piping. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19(d), withi n 10 calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit docume ntation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps it is taking to document that the equipment in the process complies w ith recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices.
