Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: In the Alternative: 29 CFR 1910.38(a)(1) The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free of recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that: Locations: Egg & Pullet Farm The employer did not develop a written emergency evacuation plan which would inform employees of actions to be taken in the event of an emergency. The lack of a program and procedures can potentially expose employees to injuries and possibly death. A feasible method of abatement would be to develop a written program as referenced in 29CFR 1910.38(a)(1).
