29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(i):The employee training did not include the methods and observations used to detect the presence or release of a hazardous chemical in the work area: On or about August 20, 2025, employees working in and around manure did not receive training on methods used to detect the presence or release of hydrogen sulfide and other manure gases, including the need to use air monitoring equipment such as four-gas monitors. This condition exposes employees to inhalation hazards from manure gases including, but not limited to, hydrogen sulfide, methane, ammonia, and carbon dioxide.
