29 CFR 1926.651(d): Employees exposed to public vehicular traffic were not wearing warning vests provided by the employer. a) On or about March 10, 2025, at or about GPS coordinates 34.71333 degrees North, 86.76804 degrees West, on a jobsite in Madison, AL; the employer did not provide warning vest while employees were conducting work within the right of way of the residential roadway. Employees were not provided warning vests when working within 50 feet of public vehicular traffic. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
