Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 005 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.217(f)(2):Instruction to operators. The employer shall train and instruct the operator in the safe method of work before starting work on any operation covered by this section. The employer shall insure by adequate supervision that correct operating procedures are being followed. (a) On or about 2/4/2025 operators for part revolution presses such as the AIDA (model # NC1-1500(2)E) SER # C0415-1735) were not adequately instructed to utilize tools to remove stuck parts from the ejectors. Nor were the operators informed that when stuck parts were removed from the ejectors that the ejectors would still function even with the light curtain being activated.
