29 CFR 1926.651(k)(1):An inspection of the excavations, the adjacent areas, and protective systems was not made after every rainstorm or other hazard increasing occurrence. On or about January 29, 2025, on the south side of W. Albany Street between S 136th E Ave. and N Hemlock Circle, before employees repaired a water line, a competent person did not inspect the excavation before the employees preformed work.
