29 CFR 1926.452(j)(2): Poles were not secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom, top, and other points as necessary. Location: 1 Ruth Court, Monsey, NY a) On or about January 09, 2025, employees utilizing a pump jack scaffold in the rear of the house to remove and replace siding on a two-story residential building did not secure the poles to the building by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom. b) On or about January 09, 2025, employees utilizing a pump jack scaffold on the south side of the house to remove and replace siding on a two-story residential building did not secure the poles to the building by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the casefile, the employer need not submit certification nor documentation of abatement of this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
