29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface, the ladder did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a. Lot 22 - On or about January 3, 2025, employees were accessing the roof utilized an aluminum extension ladder that was not three feet above the landing, employees transitioning between the ladder and the roof were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 15 feet. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
