29 CFR 1915.132(d): Worn and or frayed electric cables were not taken out of service. On or about December 12, 2024, and at times prior thereto, the outer insulation was deteriorated and not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause serious physical harm, in the following locations: a) Bldg. 1405, North end next to bandsaw, the outer insulation on the power cable was frayed on the back end of the Miller XR- AlumaFeed 300509 SN MB190338V machine. b) Bldg. 1396, Northeast end, the outer insulation on the power cable was frayed on the back end of the Miller XR- AlumaFeed 300509 SN MB190337 machine. This conduction potentially exposed employee(s) to electric shock hazard(s).
