29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(iii): The safety monitor was not on the same walking/working surface and within visual sighting distance of the employee being monitored. At the worksite located at 101 Johnson, Moberly, Missouri: Employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 6 feet. The employer planned for a safety monitor to be on the roof when employees were working on the roof deck. The safety monitor was not on the roof at all times the employees were on the roof.
