29 CFR 1910.1052(d)(2):The employer did not perform initial monitoring to determine each employee's exposure to methylene chloride: a) Spray Finishing: An employee was required to conduct spray finishing using Choice Adhesive Formica F-171 (contains 70-90% methylene chloride) on wood products, and was exposed to an airborne concentration of methylene chloride in excess of OSHA's Action Level of 12.5 parts per million. The employee was exposed to a concentration of 20.37 parts per million. Sampling was conducted for approximately 144 minutes and zero exposure was assumed for 336 minutes of unsampled time. The employer did not conduct initial monitoring to determine employee exposure to concentrations of methylene chloride, on or about 7/02/24.
