29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3): When work was to be performed near overhead lines, the lines were not deenergized and grounded, nor were other protective measures provided before work was started: Location: 95 Taylortown Rd., Montville, NJ 07045. a. The employer failed to ensure that protective measures to include but not limited to the de-energization and grounding of power lines were taken prior to beginning work. On April 4, 2024, an employee engaged in tree trimming activities contacted 7.2KV power lines, resulting in a fatality.
