29 CFR 1910.212(b):Machine(s) designed for fixed location(s) were not securely anchored to prevent walking or moving: (a) On or about March 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure the Grizzly Vertical Drill Press was bolted or securely fixed to the floor in the Rails Building to prevent struck- by hazards caused by the machine walking or moving while in operation. (b) On or about March 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure the #1 Horizontal Drill Press was was bolted or securely fixed to the floor in the Rails Building to prevent struck- by hazards caused by the machine walking or moving while in operation. (c) On or about March 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure the #2 Horizontal Drill Press was was bolted or securely fixed to the floor in the Rails Building to prevent struck- by hazards caused by the machine walking or moving while in operation. (d) On or about March 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure the Oliver (82-DS/Serial No:202306) Horizontal Drill Press was bolted or securely fixed to the floor in the Rails Building to prevent struck- by hazards caused by the machine walking or moving while in operation.
