29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems. a) Warehouse roof: On or about November 20, 2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems were not provided to employees engaged in roofing activities on a flat roof at heights of approximately 19 feet. b) Warehouse roof: On or about January 29, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems were not provided to employees engaged in roofing activities on a 4/12 pitched roof at heights of approximately 19 feet.
