29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: (a)Global Harvest Foods, LLC at 103 South Broadway Avenue, Miller, SD 57362: On or about and at times prior to January 4, 2024, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from rotating parts and pinch points less than seven feet from the floor, in that guards were not installed over the chain and sprocket of the bagging machine in the Corn Crack Room. This condition exposed employees to caught-in and amputation hazards.
