29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(i): The employer shall institute a training program and ensure that each employee with occupational exposure is trained in accordance with the requirements under section vii, elements (A-N) of this paragraph. Such training must be provided at no cost to the employee and during working hours. a) Hiossen Inc. - 401 Plymouth Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA - On or about February 17, 2024, Dental Implant Sales Reps were assisting with clean-up of contaminated cotton/gauze, needles, and dental instruments after live dental implant surgeries. The employer did not institute a training program and ensure that each employee with occupational exposure was trained as required. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photograph or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
