29 CFR 1910.151(b): In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons were not adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies were not readily available. Monarch Metal Finishing Co., Inc. at 189 Georgia Avenue in Providence, RI: a.) On or about November 21, 2023, the employer did not have ready a first aid kit specifically stocked with antidotes to counter the effects of an accidental cyanide poisoning when cyanide compounds were used during plating operations.
