29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about: November 11, 2023 Location: 16 Wade Sq., Bronx, NY 10457 a) During erection of exterior cold-formed steel wall panels, three (3) workers were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 60 feet while guiding and anchoring the wall panel on the 5th floor approximately 2-3 feet from the edge. No other fall protection was utilized.
