29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1):Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel: a) Powder Plant Area; On or about November 7, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards, in that a sit-down forklift (Model: TAILIFT U.S.A. INC. FG 30G; Serial Number: 108238) was not taken out of service or in safe and operative condition, as the front right tire has a loss of mass. b) Powder Plant Area; On or about November 7, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards, in that a sit-down forklift (Model: TAILIFT U.S.A. INC. FG 30G; Serial Number: 108238) was not taken out of service or in safe and operative condition, as the leather seat cover was worn and lifting.
