Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 005 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1026(m)(1)(ii)(E): Recordkeeping. Air monitoring data. The employer shall maintain an accurate record of all air monitoring conducted to comply with the requirements of this section. This record shall include at least the following information: Type of personal protective equipment, such as respirators worn; and a.) On or about November 10, 2023, records of air monitoring data from October 4, 2023, and January 23, 2024, provided to the employer by SevenGen (EOH Management Partners, LLC) were inaccurate in that manual welders who participated in 8-hour TWA air monitoring and were exposed above the permissible exposure limit or action level for hexavalent chromium, were not wearing PAPRs as indicated in the technical reports.
