29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Jobsite: 773 East Ashland Ave. Folcroft, PA 19032 - On or about September 12, 2023, the employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was working on the roof of a one story building, installing trusses in close proximity to unprotected sides and edges without fall protection, in the recognition and avoidance of fall hazards, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. Level Edge Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1567902, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on June 28, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 411 Main Street Luzerne, PA 18709. OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE 29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1): The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (a) of this section by preparing a written certification record including the name or other identity of the employee trained, the date(s) of the training, and the signature of the person who conducted the training or the signature of the employer: a) Jobsite: 773 East Ashland Ave. Folcroft, PA 19032 - On or about September 12, 2023, the employer did not provide a certification of training for each employee in the recognition and avoidance of fall hazards. Level Edge Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1567902, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on September 2, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 411 Main Street, Luzerne, PA.
