29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer shall assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). If such hazards are present, or likely to be present, the employer shall: a.) 15 Jane St Paterson NJ: Employees were exposed to Acetone, Formaldehyde and Methylene Chloride while assembling/painting elevator structures using latex disposable gloves. The employer did not properly assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of the proper personal protective equipment on or about March 22, 2023.
