29 CFR 1910.134(k)(3): The employer shall provide the training prior to requiring the employee to use a respirator in the workplace. a) Lowe' s retail store, 265 McLean Blvd., Paterson, NJ: On or about March 14, 2023, an employee used gas-powered saws to cut concrete, while another employee assisted by spraying water on the saw cuts to control dust. The employer did not provide training prior to requiring employees to wear P95 filtering facepiece respirators.
