29 CFR 1926.451(g)(3)(i): Vertical lifelines were not fastened to a fixed safe point of anchorage, independent of the scaffold, and protected from sharp edges and abrasion. a) 3700 Boardwalk, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243: Lifelines used for fall protection for a suspended scaffold were not protected from abrasion where they went over the edge of the roof. Occurred on or about February 24, 2023. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
