29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(22): Employees using ladders were carrying objects or loads that could cause the employee to lose balance and fall: a- 37, 39, 41, 43, 45 & 47 Stanton Road, Mount Holly NJ: On or about 02/15/23 the company worksite Foreman and a worker were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 20 feet 7 inches to the ground surface below, when climbing up extension ladders while carrying a 4 foot by 8 foot (or cut to certain lengths and widths) single piece of OSB plywood sheathing with one of their hands used to climb the ladder. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
