Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 005 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: (a). Worksite located at 5400 Chouteau Trafficway, Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were exposed to fall hazards in that the fabricated framed scaffolding being used was not provided with proper guardrails to prevent employees from falling. (b). - Employee was exposed to a fall hazard while working on a mobile scaffold (scissor lift) and had failed to attach the chain to act as the mid-rail for the guard railing.
