29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(1)(i): Contaminated sharps were not discarded immediately or as soon as feasible in containers that were closable: (a) Facility: On or about February 2, 2023 and continuing thereafter, dentists placed a sharps, such as needles removed from the I. V. catheters used for intravenous drug infusion, into a cup on a tray exposing dental assistants to sharps injuries.
