29 CFR 1910.138(b): The employer did not base selection of appropriate hand protection on an evaluation of the performance characteristics of the hand protection relative to the tasks to be performed, conditions present, duration of use, and the hazards and potential hazards identified: a) On or about December 30, 2022, at 2745 East Burdick Expressway, Minot, ND the employer did not select and/or provide appropriate hand protection as necessary for employees instructed to clean up a chemical spill involving a mixture of multiple chemicals while wearing latex gloves.
