29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a) Plant-Wide: Employees were operating Crown propane powered forklift trucks and pallet jacks, to transport products, including, but not limited to, corn starch, tapioca starch, and wheat starch, throughout the plant, and did not complete training, prior to operating powered industrial trucks. The employer did not ensure that employees successfully completed training, prior to being allowed to operate powered industrial trucks and equipment, on or about 12/16/22.
