29 CFR 1910.1026(k)(1)(i)(A): The employer did not make medical surveillance available for all employees who were or could be occupationally exposed to chromium (VI) at or above the action level for 30 or more days a year: a) On or about February 24, 2023, a welder in the MDS area of the SST department was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) of 8.6 �g/m3 for chromium (VI), approximately 3.45 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 5.0 �g/m3. The exposure level was derived from a sample collected over a 414 minutes sampling period with zero exposure assumed for the unsampled period of 66 minutes. b) On or about February 24, 2023, a welder in the MDS area of the SST department was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) of 2.8 �g/m3 for chromium (VI), approximately 1.10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 5.0 �g/m3. The exposure level was derived from a sample collected over a 414 minutes sampling period with zero exposure assumed for the unsampled period of 66 minutes. c) On or about February 24, 2023, a welder in the Manual Weld area of the SST department was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) of 2.9 �g/m3 for chromium (VI), approximately 1.16 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 5.0 �g/m3. The exposure level was derived from a sample collected over a 480 minutes sampling period.
