Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 005 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(i): Conductors entering cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings shall be protected from abrasion, and openings through which conductors enter shall be effectively closed. On or about December 6, 2022, and times here to, electrical panels boxes had "knockout" holes that were opened. This type of opening accumulates the elements from the area such as but not limited to dust, dirt, small vermin and insects that could crawl in there, nest, and cause an arch flash. This exposed employees to electrical hazards.
