29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about November 29, 2022, the employer did not ensure that machine guarding was in place on both tube benders located on the cold side section A-12. Employees are exposed to the moving machine parts of the trolley, the movement of the table, and the potential of the wedge shooting out.
