29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: a- 25, 27, 29, 31, 33 Cardinal Way, Mount Laurel NJ: Workers, not using fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards up to and in excess of 10 feet 9 inches, to the walking/working surface from the ground surface below, when performing floor truss installation and other related activities while working/walking next to and at unprotected edges while on the second floor of a residential structure. Condition observed on or about 08/25/22. b- 25, 27, 29, 31, 33 Cardinal Way, Mount Laurel NJ: Workers, not using fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards up to and in excess of 9 feet 4 inches, to the walking/working surface from the concrete flooring below, when performing floor truss installation and other related activities while working/walking next to and at an unprotected stairway opening on the second floor of a residential structure. Condition observed on or about 08/25/22. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
