29 CFR 1910.272(e)(1)(ii):Current employees, and new employees prior to starting work in the grain handling facility were not trained in the specific procedures and safety practices applicable to their job tasks including but not limited to cleaning process On August 11, 2022, employees engaged in grain handling activities at the Seaboard Foods facility located at 132 N. County Rd. 14, Leoti, Kansas were exposed to atmospheric and engulfment hazards associated with unloading soybean meal; in that the employer failed to provide employees with grain handling training on the hazards, emergency actions and operating procedures required in a feed mill.
