29 CFR 1910.119(j)(4)(iii): The frequency of inspections and tests of process equipment shall be consistent with applicable manufacturers' recommendations and good engineering practices, and more frequently if determined to be necessary by prior operating experience. (a) On August 10, 2022, and at times prior, at the facility located at 5303 Distribution, San Antonio, TX, the employer did not ensure that the inspection/tests on safety equipment including monitoring devices, sensors, alarms, and interlocks in the gas house were performed on a schedule that is consistent with the applicable manufacturer's recommendations and good engineering practices.
