29 CFR 1910.307(c)(2): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not safe for the hazardous (classified location), nor approved for the hazardous (classified) location or the ignitable or combustible properties of the specific gas, vapor, dust or fiber that was present: a) Production area/Blending department: On or about 04/14/2022, the employer exposed employees to fire hazards in that electrical equipment such as, but not limited to Bag Slitter switches, Bag Slitter belt, Compactor switches, Vacuum/host switches, Incline switches, Vacuum Pump switches, and Kason Safety switches in Class II Division 2 locations were not intrinsically safe nor approved for the hazardous Class II combustible dust location.
