29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(i)(A): Periodic and regular inspections of each power press were not conducted to ensure that all of its parts, auxiliary equipment, and safeguards, including clutch/brake mechanism, antirepeat feature, and single-stroke mechanism, were in safe operating condition and adjustment: a) Press room: Periodic and regular inspections of the Clearing 60 full revolution mechanical power press (corner notcher) were not conducted to ensure all parts were in safe operating condition in that there were no barrier guards and no single stroke mechanism was present exposing employees to an amputation hazard, on or about February 9, 2022. Abatement Certification Required.
