29 CFR 1910.216(c)(1):Safety tripod, cable, or wire center cord shall be provided across each pair of in-running rolls extending the length of the face of the rolls. It shall be readily accessible and operate whether pushed or pulled. The safety tripping devices shall be located within reach of the operator and the bite. a) Schweitzer-Mauduit International Inc., 601 Industrial Road, Middletown, DE 19709 (DELNET LINE 1 Pre-stretch stand): On or about February 14,2022,and other various days before, the employer failed to guard the ingoing nip points of pre-stretch stand, with a Safety tripod, cable, or wire center cord to protect workers for in-running rolls, exposing employees to caught in/amputation hazards.
