29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as�elsewhere required�or permitted�by this�standard, live�parts of�electric equipment�operating at�50 volts�or more�shall be�guarded against�accidental contact by�use of�approved cabinets�or other�forms of�approved enclosures�or by�any of�the following�means: a. On or about December 28, 2021, and at times prior, on Production Line 3 in the Production Barn, the employer did not ensure that live parts of electrical equipment operating at 208-230 volts were guarded against accidental contact in that an electrical box with live conductors had its door open. Employees were thereby exposed to struck-by electrical hazards. b. On or about December 28, 2021, and at times prior, on Production Line 3 in the Production Barn, the employer did not ensure that live parts of electrical equipment operating at 120 volts were guarded against accidental contact in that electrical cords zip-tied along the bottom of the production line had exposed conductors. Employees were thereby exposed to struck-by electrical hazards.
