29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer shall ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l). a. At Epting Distributors Inc., located at 112 Central Junction Blvd, Savannah, GA. 31405, on or about August 31, 2021, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards due to failing to ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation.
