29 CFR 1926.451(h)(2)(ii): A toeboard was not erected along the edge of platforms more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower levels for a distance sufficient to protect employees below: The employer is failing to protect employees from overhead hazards associated with working on or near scaffolding while erecting, staging, and hoisting materials and equipment. This was most recently documented on or about September 4, 2020, at a jobsite located at 12 Seminole Circle, Lake Winnebago, Missouri. Employees were exposed to overhead hazards from equipment, materials, and other employees and the work platform was provided with toeboards. Toeboards are necessary to prevent these materials from being inadvertently dropped on employees working beneath the materials.
