29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(x): The employer did not insure that the operator does not leave his position at the controls while the load is suspended: At 2101 S 21st Street, Parsons, KS in the Welding Department, an employee was operating an overhead crane and left the controls of the crane to stabilize the load being lifted. The employer is failing to protect employees from struck-by and caught between hazards associated with operating the overhead gantry crane.
