29 CFR 1910.184(e)(3)(i): A thorough periodic inspection of alloy steel chain slings was not made on a regular basis and/or were done at intervals greater than once every 12 months: On or about December 3, 2019 the employer failed to ensure that periodic inspections of the alloy steel chains in use or available for use by employees in the facility had been performed. Inspections had not been performed in over a year as they had not been done prior to the inspection at all.
