29 CFR 1926.761(b): Fall Hazard Training. The employer did not train each employee exposed to a fall hazard in accordance with the requirements of this section. The employer did not institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program. On or about October 12, 2019, on floors eight through eighteen of the Hard Rock Hotel construction site at 1031 Canal St., New Orleans, LA, employees erected steel, installed decking, and installed stairs in open shafts from the ground to upper floors, without employer provided training regarding appropriate fall protection methods to avoid the hazards associated with elevated work areas.
