29 CFR 1915.77(c): When employees are working aloft, or elsewhere at elevations more than 5 feet above a solid surface, the employer did not provide either scaffolds or a sloping ladder, meeting the requirements of this subpart, to afford safe footing, and the employees were not protected by safety belts and lifelines meeting the requirements of 1915.159 and 1915.160: a) Gryphon Technologies: On or about 09/25/2019, employees working onboard a boat with a 24in gunwale 18in wide and secured on a trailer were exposed to an 8ft fall hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
