29 CFR 1926.651(i)(3): Sidewalks, pavements, or appurtenant structures had been undermined and a support system or another method was not provided to protect employees from the possible collapse of such structures: The employer is failing to protect employees from crush by, caught in, struck by and/or engulfment hazards associated with trenching and excavation. This was most recently documented on or about 05/29/2019, at the jobsite located at 2600 block of NE 46th St, KC MO. The roadway was undermined so that it could cave-in, and/or collapse. The employer did not provide a support system, and/or other method, to protect employees in the trench and on the roadway.
