29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards. This was most recently documented on or about October 17, 2018 and October 29, 2018 at the residential construction jobsite located at 522 Iowa Ave., in Holton, Kansas. Employees engaged in re-roofing activities, installing felt paper and furring strips, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 27 feet from the roof of the structure to the ground below. Employees were not provided with training to recognize, evaluate and control fall hazards while working at height.
