29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: (a) Converting - On or about September 19, 2018 compressed air was used for cleaning purposes on Line 5 and the core machine #1 was not reduced to 30 PSI. Compressed air wands operating at shop pressure (80 PSI) were not equipped with safety nozzles exposing employees to an embolism hazard. (b) Converting - On or about November 28, 2018 a compressed air wand used for cleaning on Line 7 was operating at 45 PSI. The wand did not have a pressure reducing safety nozzle exposing employees to an embolism hazard.
