29 CFR 1926.1101(o)(1): The employer did not designate a competent person on the worksites, having the qualifications and authorities for ensuring worker safety and health required by 29 CFR 1926.1101(C), General Safety and Health Provisions for Construction 29 CFR 1926.20 through 29 CFR 1926.32: a) At the worksite; North Building, First Floor Locker Rooms, demolition and renovation project; the employer did not provide a competent person with knowledge of asbestos hazard for employees with the job title of laborers performing Class 2 work; on or about 7/16/18, 7/17/18, and 7/18/18. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
