29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(i): Temporary electrical power and lighting installations rated 600 volts, nominal, or less were used for purposes other than those permitted in subparagraphs (A), (B) and (C) of this paragraph: an extension cord was used for a period exceeding 90 days: On or about April 19, 2018, at Woodward Millwork Group, the employer allowed employees to utilize an extension cord as permanent wiring. Instance 1) An extension cord was used as a power source for a retractable electrical cord in the fabrication area. Instance 2) An extension cord was used as a power source for the Oasis water dispenser.
